More like 2 footswitches and 6 knob/buttons

If you've ever used the QC on a desktop you know they work easily with fingers.
Imagine the timeline where every knob also has a push function.
The 2 footswitches is the most challenging thing to Figure out IMO
Kemper player use 3 dual purpose switches to access 5 rigs ,

Competition is fierce!

Cordy said the middle button is labeled capture.
I am shocked at that as DI has said many times to lower cost you need to rip out a ton of I/O and that’s where most of it is on the QC the capture capability

So then I am thinking it’s the amp models they nerfed

And it captures plus fx and cabs / ir

I think that means this device will play captures not necessarily that it’s also a capture device.

The question is will it have any amp modeling, or will just be their version of the Kemper Profile Player.

I feel like I'd have to be all or nothing with Strandberg. Like I'd need to get rid of all my guitars and just have a collection of Strandbergs. Which wouldn't be all that bad...something like the Plini, an HSS version, and the Tele one.

That was me! Sold off an R9, Wildwood 57 Strat and a killer MM Majesty which was the last of the non-Strandberg I owned
and then had them in constant rotation for at least 2 years solid.

Have had the OG Plini since 2020 and then because they are so close and I've known the head guy forever
I've had all sorts come through over the years. At one point I had enough that I had to label the cases to figure them out.

Back to just the Plini until the new B-stock H-S-S arrives.
And I'm already thinking about getting another 7 string.

Had a Masvidalien for a while and really should have kept it in hindsight.

I have way too many complaints about the design to go that route. Not enough scale difference on the 6/7-strings fanned frets, cumbersome bridge adjustment, the neck heel could be better (even on the NX), don't like the 3-way blade switch on some models...

The ones I've seen in Japan have been nice but they're expensive to import.

Neural: "The most powerful mini modeler!"
Fractal: "Hold my beer..."
The Fractal mini modeler will be 3x as powerful and will have a dual detune block. But to program it, you'll have to button mash cheat codes into an old Nintendo Wavebird controller. :rofl

And like it.

I can't see why it wouldn't have amp modeling. Aren't amp models really just one category of effects blocks, albeit particularly DSP-intensive ones?

Not to get off topic but what is a price of guitar gear that impressed you recently? This may sound like me being an ass but I'm honestly just curious! I don't think I've ever seen a product pass your test(s) 🤣
