I still have the same V30s with mine too and they've broken in quite nicely.

In the right context (aka don't try to pretend it's a OG 5150); those things have a great rep.

I had a Carvin cab with V30s back at the turn of the 2000s. With my early 00s Recto; that thing was

I briefly had a Carvin fuzzy 4x12 that came with a fuzzy X100B head and it sounded great with the JCM800 2204 I traded the X100 in on after about a month.

(That fuzzy Carvin half stack was hilarious but dirt cheap and it was my ticket back to rock/electric guitar after playing all bluegrass/acoustic for about six years.)
