Anybody got experience with Warwick Rockboards?

I would go for one of the TempleAudio boards to use their module system, but their sizing goes from 28 to 42 on the Trio. I need something closer to 32x16.

I narrowed it down to the Creation Elevation board or Rockboards Cinque 5.3, but Creation isn’t going to have anything stocked for months. The Rockboards look nice, a bit pricey, but I’m consistently impressed how expensive any nice board is now. :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, anyone use a Rockboards? Worth the scratch? Looks like they have nice power/routing/junction modules too.

Check out the Fender Large pedalboard, looks pretty great:

They seem quite decent to me and offers some cool extra stuff. Im actually in the process of getting a Quad 4.1 during this summer sometime.
I’ve grown out of my Harley Benton Spaceship 40. But I just don’t want to go as wide as 24” wich seems to be the next step from 18” (who came up with that… pedal train?)

The quad 4.1 will free up much needed space for me. But won’t be enormous.
As of now I have to have the tuner off the board and i want one or two more pedals.

I dont mind DC in instead of a IEC because I’m just homeplaying… actually prefer DC for home use.

That looks nice. Didn’t know they made nice pb’s. (y) I’ll add that to my price shopping list.

Power module looks nice. I wish you could chain a second to it from another barrel on the back. Though ive already got so many Cioks bricks I could light Times Square.

Side note, how do you like that 360 looper? I’ve been looking at that. I love the way you can have the loops fade out and overlap. Really cool.

Yeah man, I use one. I've got two actually - the Quad 4.2 and Quad 4.4. Thinking of a Quad 4.3 as well, since it is a little bigger.

This is the 4.4:

I've got one of those MOD patchbay things on the rear side of it too.

I think it’s great! I really only bought it because it’s the only mini looper that can switch between R/P/D and R/D/P, the ditto drove me insane because I mainly use R/D/P.

That board has stories.

The board build and material quality seems to be there with these, just making sure I don’t get got, stumping this cash for a hunk of metal. :ROFLMAO:

I narrowed it down to the Creation Elevation board or Rockboards Cinque 5.3, but Creation isn’t going to have anything stocked for months.

I finally received a Creation board on Friday. It took over a month to receive an order for items NOT listed as back ordered, and communication during the delay was not good. I have not had a chance to do anything with it yet so I can't comment on the board itself, but if time is at all important, I would suggest trying something else.

Yeah, I think I’m going elsewhere. I love the layout and aesthetics of the Elevation board, but they aren’t projecting availability until September and I don’t even trust that.

How do you like the build of yours though?

I opened the box, looked it for ten seconds and then left for the weekend. So, I can’t say much at all about it yet.

One thing I can say is the 24” aero board I ordered is 24” x 12.5” and came with a tiny roll of Velcro that looks to be no more than 3 feet. I don’t get that at all. Either give me more than enough like PedalTrain or leave it out and expect me to buy my own. Grrrr. Also, the default feet look very short which I knew in advance so I also ordered some taller ones with it. I am not sure if even a thin power supply like a Cioks will fit beneath with the default feet, but that is not an issue with the Elevation line. At least they offer several sizes of feet to adjust the height, but if the default is too short for anything, it starts to feel like nickel and diming.

I thought my wants were pretty simple. I wanted something flat but with just enough room for the power underneath and a 24x12 is surface. PedalTrain does the height perfectly with the Nano and Metro, but I wanted the 12” depth and they insist on tilting anything bigger than the Metro. The Creation Aero line seemed like the best option for a flat board with more layout flexibility than the wider spaced PT rails.

Hopefully I will be home early enough to get a better feel for the build quality, foot situation and cioks placement. I will probably run 6 lines of Velcro across it, so I need to buy another 9 feet worth before I attach pedals and actually use it at all. That won’t happen for a few more days.

What do you get out of the Nemesis that you can't get out of the VP4?
TBH, lately I've been thinking of taking the VP4 off the board. I just like that the single stomps are instant gratification and don't require much fucking around.

Ahh you did that with dual lock instead of small pieces. Well thought. I was thinking about that the other day if I went dual lock, changing pedals and placements works better if doing it like that.

Its best to admit to oneself that a board is never done….
Dual-lock fits Rockboards perfectly, doesn’t collect pet hair, and attaches tighter than Velcro. At the same time my local hardware store carries it for less than half the Amazon price so the difference in price vs Velcro is no concern either.

I’ve had pedal trains, Temple boards, and a couple of the NuX bumblebees, and the rockboards are just the best I’ve found so far. I think the Temple boards have the best aesthetic but I don’t like the plate system at all. Plus I love the risers for Rockboard, I use one to raise my MIDI controller so I don’t hit a pedal in front of it when I use it.

I always wondered why so many people still use pedalboards that require velcro when there are now much more elegant, practical and flexible solutions - like the boards from Aclam and Guitto.
