Potential Mesa Reissues? IIC+ and Dual Rec

Good example of all the various tone a Mark series amp can get. Not *exactly* a IIC+ but it still kind of is in spirit as the top preamp is supposed to be IIC+ based (?).

Watched this last night and immediately dialed in a the IIC+ model on my FM3. GAS avoided!

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick why did it take so long for someone to do this? Literally 1 minute to set it up exactly like we’ve been bitching about and boom - incredible metal tones immediately.

lol, all i know is whenever he plays through an amp that i have as well we sound remarkably similar, all this RI talk got me playing my OG last few weeks and this video sounds nearly exactly to what im hearing sitting next to mine as i kind of expected was gonna be the case. this should have been the first video they released

On one hand it’s easy to see how someone might casually arrive at that opinion with a couple hundred chug videos to his name, but the guy has a real talent for pulling great heavy tones that track well. He’s probably invested tons of hours learning how to do that. I doubt his engineering skills stop at heavy tones.

There’s certain pieces of gear I’ve owned myself and put the time in with that I know I hate and he’s still made sound killer


If anyone has examples of something just simply sounding bad in Olas hands I would love to see those vids, as I have yet to encounter them

you live with me. Come on, aren't you a scientist or something?

Implying that the last thing is being implied (sounding bad) when the first thing is being said (sounds the same)
is not the case---even if Ola is dialing in every amp/pedal/plug-in to sound the "same" as he can get them to.

The Ola vid sounds a lot better through my home theater system than my laptop speakers. Whodda thunk it! I was hearing graininess this morning but it wasn't hitting me that way at all. That's really the only scary thing beyond the price
