Their videos are mastered similarly to how you would master a final mix. Source: I master my own YT videos exactly like I do final recordings and my sounds are similar.

Thanks! I created my own IRs of the 4x12 a year or two ago and I use those. So it's my cab miked, but in IR form so I can do this at midnight when the kiddos are asleep. The amp goes into a Suhr RL and then I apply the IRs in Reaper.

I need to grab the Suhr. I have the captor and it’s useful for making demos but not really in love with the the sounds for general playing as a RL. That said I do absolutely love the -20db attenuator on it for playing the III, IV, and badlander when I’m at home. Definitely a game changer in that regard

The Suhr RL is a billionty times better than the Captor.

The Suhr is awesome. As dumb as this sounds; I have been seriously considering a head, into my Suhr into an analog cab emulation into my FR12 alongside my synths.

I almost sold the captor and was gonna get the Suhr after but I then realized that -for me- even that -20db pad was more useful than RL activities
