I like Ola, but that dude is one of the biggest One Trick Pony's in the entire YT-iverse. Great Pony. Awesome Trick.

I'll go against the grain here and appreciate the low gain.

I've been considering a Mark V, and it's surprisingly hard to find good clips of it with any low to mid gain stuff. Or even metal stuff where anyone uses the amp at anything except pretty much the same V-scoop settings. Plus so many of the low gain clips are like 240p clips from 10+ years ago...

I'm sure the 'net will be absolutely littered with your crank-the-treble knob, crank-the-bass/treble sliders, scoop all the mids clips in no time.

And the Metal guys are the ones always insinuating the Bluers and Jazzers are uppity and high maintenance.

Oh, how ironic..... and oblivious!

The Great IIC+ Dumbdown is upon us.

I am excited to hear someone compare the IIC+ to the JP2C, and the IIC+ mode
on the Mark V and VII.

The Reissue is in its infancy and a lot of great content will no doubt come down
the pipeline to make everyone who is not inherently miserable more than happy.

Ola is my default demo dude as he sounds most similar to myself through the same few amps we have, where other guys with the same amps sound completely different. i cant say i ever understood people saying he sounds the same through every amp though, as that to me means all my stuff must sound the same as well, and i just dont think thats the case.

I've always wondered that about a lot of Youtubers. Do they tone match or have some kind of EQ curve that they overlay all the guitar tones with?

Wish I could get that sound.,

Never see any settings behind the curtain, so it's just speculation of course.

Their videos are mastered similarly to how you would master a final mix. Source: I master my own YT videos exactly like I do final recordings and my sounds are similar.

I’ve heard two phone recorded vids so far playing the heavies that sound awesome though. And I know I’m in an extreme minority here but I can say with certainty that -for me- iPhone amp vids provide me with a far more accurate idea of what an amp might actually sound like than a heavily processed or IRed video from a geartuber. YMMV

Uncle Ben's cleans sounded FANTASTIC. 7 string headless thing sounded like out of tune shit. Ben and even Fluff sounded good. Kyle sounded like he needed a bit more gain to be where he should be given the riffs at hand.
