Damn! Time to start saving…

If they ever end up dipping to the same used prices I've seen the VII occasionally dip too, I'd potentially bite

It's priced lower than I expected. Still fairly spendy---and if it is a limited run, per Gibson standards,
then it will probably never be cheaper used than the new price. Probably the opposite. People will
buy them up and then list them at 2x the new price.
:idk

I really appreciate the trend of reissuing authentic vintage designs by many companies, 1959HW, AC30HW, and now Mesa.
People are willing to pay premium for the authentic experience, and the companies should keep offering that.

I bet half of youtube already got the Reissue IIC+ amps.
Bro, if I'm going to hear pull me under one more f'ing time, I'm going to ctrl+alt+delete youtube from existence on my computor.

Prepare your bottle of eucalyptus scented beard oil.

Based on the rumor mill I've seen, its "somewhat limited"

Not to 200 units initially being reported, but until demand tapers off and/or they run out of parts whichever comes first

Anybody know if the EQ is before or after the FX loop?

I'm wondering how my SYN 2 might work with one of these. If I win the lotto...

Nope. Gibson's sourcing all of the chassis steel, wood, components, wiring, opto-switches, etc. from their
already established vendor base (who've been bitch slapped repeatedly for the lowest prices for years)
instead of all of the original USA specialized vendors and fabricators from 3+ decades ago.

Still gonna kick major wads of ass I'm sure, but don't go be buying one thinking you're anywhere near
to tasting the nectar of that original runs of IICs from the 80s.

It'll be a cool fantasy to dwell in now and then when you're by yourself. Just don't do getting into any
public debates over your new IIC vs the originals in regards to the magic.

Source? Last I heard they recently switched back to Schumacher for transformers, at the very least
