Their “remastered” amp models that they added recently are actually quite good. I think they’re using machine learning like TONEX and Neural now.

Also their newest versions of cabs have an interesting studio vs. “realistic” switch that attempts to mimic the extra beef you hear standing in front of a cab vs. just the raw mic’d signal.

So, i gave it a spin today, and it's... not great?

Maybe i'm too used to Helix Native tones, but i was (very) not impressed.
