Played through a Splawn Quick Rod 100

A jam buddy of mine brought his over.What a perfect amp. Beautiful cleans and every channel and gear just punches so nice. Never played through a Splawn before today.

I thnk I need one.

There was a purple tolex QR on the other place several months back with the B+ mod for a decent price. Looked like it just came out of the box for a very fair price. I was having serious issues avoiding pulling the trigger.

Great modded-Marshall variants. For me, like a lot of Marshall variants they get a little
too thick for my tastes, and forsake that blessed upper-mid bark of a great Marshall
for a bit more of a lower-mid punch.

I absolutely LOVE the Quick Rod. I sold my 2013 Low B+ years ago and had missed it terribly. Ended up grabbing a 2011 for a steal and it just sounds magnificent.

That's why you get a QuickRod, Helios, Ecstasy, JMP and another Plexi of your choosing.

I think you can see why I primarily stay in the modeler camp.

I think the one my buddy brought over was done in 2016 or 15, don't quite remember but it also had a master volume on the back that worked fantastic for getting the levels down and retaining the tone mostly.
