Those are almost always the correct settings for a Recto

I seem to remember with a Tele, el34’s, 50 watt, tube rectifier, spongy power, and either ch1 pushed or ch2 raw finding some good early breakup tones…
Now I need to play one again!

Only thing I will say that is not optimal is size. I WISH that everyone made everything Mark short head size. Finding a non-412, non 212 that's blasting my ankles is nonexistant.

I need to look at the connectors on the bottom of my Stealth to see how easily that could be moved to the Recto. I would want different speakers too and not matching would make my OCD twitch

I have an empty 4x12. I'm not gigging it. They have vertical 2x12s but they aren't wide enough for the Recto head.

I keep debating on buying a Mud Killer just for this amp. I’m only using the Axe III into the front and I feel like it’s got enough options but I would prefer a real pedal up front.
I’ve got a SD-1 but the shitty 1Spot I have adds too much noise and 9V batteries die too fast for how much they cost so I just keep using the III.

Might be a good add? I am super weird about those extreme boosts. I got on the boost maniac train WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY late. Agreed completely on analog up front. All the boosts I tried yesterday were KILLER. The Vintage mode is to me the most "made to be boosted" amp channel/mode I have ever played.I keep debating on buying a Mud Killer just for this amp. I will say I kinda prefer the FM3 in the loop over the VP4? FWIW. I will also say that @FractalAudio needs an award for how good their Boogies are compared to the real thing. Doing that digital lord's work
