I have a GH100S that's a hoot when I decide to fire it up. It's just so goddamn loud!! I believe they only made them for a year as an "S" before they changed them to the GH100TI as they were Tony's sigs at the time.

If you can't find one....an older gh is pretty much the sameI eventually want a Laney and those older Iommi sigs might actually be perfect for me.

This makes my heart sing a joyous song!!!!! Welcome to the family!!!!!!A friend of mine recently gifted me a GH100L from ‘94. It was my first exposure to Laney amps and I’m absolutely hooked. It has literally changed the way I play. I’ve ditched all of my drive pedals and now just run straight into the amp because every overdrive I’ve tried with it just steps all over its sweet tone, it needs no assistance. I’ve since picked up a Lionheart L5 head and cabinet and I believe I am now officially a Laniac. Don’t even get me started on those clean tones!
Are you in the right place?I saw Ratt headline with wait for it,...Whitesnake open (before they broke) Ratt had just had the mega hit Round and round. It was the 1st time I heard pinch harmonic dive bombs. I remember thinking what the heck amps are those, certainly not Marshalls.
Apparently Randall was the go to amp to take on tour to not thrash your prized Marshall. Dokken used them too
Story I heard was EVH lost his prized Marshall coming back from somewhere on pan am and from then on there were studio heads and road heads
