I tried watching the first few episodes but those kids were like next level annoying for me at the time IMMEDIATELY. With Ohara being gone and a different perspective overall; I think I would like a rewatch at some point.

It’s worth it, dude. O’Hara alone is worth it but the kids do end up contributing to the comedy. I’ve rarely loved a character from a TV show as much as I loved O’Hara on that, that was her Walter White/Black Album role. But I do recall having a fondness for most of the characters by the time it was over and I actually don’t think I’ve even seen a comedy show since then that’s cracked me up like it has.

We are in a show rut at the moment. Have a few things rolling that we'll watch but nothing with any sort of backlog. I'll have to give it a go.

If you haven't seen it already, there's no comedy on streaming more underrated, easier to watch and just outright hilarious than Southside on HBO Max.

Don't read up about it. It's just 3 seasons of 30-minute episodes. It's perfection.

Not after 11 months, more like 5 years. So, he is wrong. There is zero chance the mini is on sale for $900 by year end unless there is a major global economic collapse.

I think his point was that why buy a mini for 300 bucks more you can have the whole thing which is even better designed in other words the mini is overpriced for sure

First, that clearly wasn't his point. He was arguing to spend less not more.

Second, the mini is the better designed box. At the same price, I would take the mini any day. With the old QC costing more, its a no brainer. Even if you need more switches, you can spend the $300 on a controller and have a much better solution.

This point is circlejerked to oblivion. Only the consumer can know if $300 is a waste of their money or gives them something they need. That’s it.

Some of us have been waiting for a 2nd iteration in hopes that some of OG stuff has been improved upon. As a fully functioning qc I was buying it no matter what.
To @Chocol8 point, some of us already have midi controllers to augment the Stomp button count, so no added expense to me.

And honestly I’d rather stomp on a midi controller than the brains of my operation any day of the week!

You learn to love those kids lol - the whole family gets a lot of character development.

Yeah I was surprised by it as well - falls into the "Arrested Development" genre for me
