I basically feel the same. Think I'm gonna buy some broken head stock Gibsons and convert them.

On the other hand, the conversion looks... non-trivial. The route under the bridge and binding to match. Gorgeous. (Which is why my head went straight to AI... I can't recall ever seeing a fingerboard like that on actual Gibson, either.)

It could be, or possibly just a custom Les Paul inspired build.

Fret marker on 20th fret says AI to me, but only the Shadow knows! That cut away at the back may actually make it a more manageable weight ;~))
