It’s wonderful that I have a 12 year old who hears worse than me in school, so I’ve slowly started to let my vernacular show around her lol

Last summer we were fishing and I didn’t tie the anchor down correctly on our boat, the rope slipped away and we spent 10 minutes paddling and trying to get possession of the rope from the bottom of the (thankfully rather shallow) depths. She heard a lot of choice phrases in that 10 minutes lmao

While on a family car trip down I-95, my younger sister said the f-word. My old man pulled the car over, grabbed her out and busted her bare ass. (this was the 70's.) I had to bite my cheeks to keep from laughing, since she was always getting me in trouble. He looked in to me and said, "And you better not laugh because she probably heard it from you!"

No dad, it wasn't me.

Ha ha ha, that was one of my most hated parenting tools! When my daughter tried the temper tantrum scream at me thing I said "I can't hear you!" And blasted an air horn. After the second time my wife took it from me with a lot of profanity and threats.
