I was denied a license renewal at a DMV because my birth certificate had a piece of scotch tape on it. I'm like, "Lady. This piece of paper certified my birth. A half a century ago. I could use a couple pieces of scotch tape here and there." You'd think they'd be calling out fakes if they weren't falling apart.
