I was in charge of taping movies while my parents went out to dinner.

"And Tommy, don't record through the commercials."

"Got it."

Watch movie, commercial comes on, hit the pause button.
Show comes back on, hit the pause button.
Commercial...hit button. Etc, etc...

Show comes back on, talking on phone to my gf, forget to hit button.
Commercial, button.
Show, button.
Etc, etc, till end of movie.

Dad gets through half of movie, then.... TOMMY!!!
