I already own an OC2 and an OC3, both used for different purposes. The latter, I lent to my co producer since he started a 2 piece band and needed to learn the joys of the polyphonic mode. But since I still needed that mode, I used it as an excuse to buy the latest iteration. Enter the Boss OC5.
So far it's a sort of best of compilation of the 2. The input jacks have been streamlined and you now have an Oct up option, which is a first in the OC range. I've already used it for an acoustic gig, which was the mainstay for my OC3.
Still toying with the idea of putting a few odd stuff for gimmicks sake...
