This is my ultimate dream.

Do a monthly subscription or something to offset any potential fears of hardware sales losses. Hell, tie it to hardware ownership. Whatever it takes. Name ANY price.

This would be the final piece of the puzzle.

But then the audio quality is only going to be as good as your interface. Is your interface as great sounding as the hardware in your AF3?

The thing is if the FM3 was to get gapless then they could could using CPU hogging effects like spring just set up a separate preset w
Say drive block. Fender , spring
3 or 4 blocks would likely fit easily
Getting the gapless into FM3 will be one of the biggest leaps fwd even if it uses 6 or 7% cpu because of what it will allow you to do
Yeah, I’m certainly not saying gapless isn’t desirable in FM3 - it would be huge. I just don’t know if the FM3 has a sufficient number of cores, etc. for implementation. That’s a question for @FractalAudio.

Then I’ll just use the AF3 as my interface into Fractal Native :sneaky:

Anyone can scale their audio interface up to whatever quality they desire.

This seriously needs to happen. 🤞🤞🤞

He answered it weeks ago, didn’t see any reason why it couldn’t be implemented on the fm units.

D

I thought I wanted a FM0 for the longest time. Then I saw the Two Notes Opus and I was like why would I want something with no switches when it can clearly fit 1 (or 2) LOL.
