I dont get the complaint of "too much to tweak" because you can just use presets or others presets and NOT TWEAK AT ALL if you want.

That works if you are not self compelled. Hard to describe. It's similar to when I am forced to focus on one thing that doesn't interest me, I get the heebie jeebies like I cant be in my own skin. Same with having the options to use or do something and not utilizing it. If it's there I am going to use it.

i see. I guess i just use a preset i like that day..and if next day it sucks to me i just tweak to sound better and find it interesting what all the deeper tweaks actually seem to do to affect the tone. But dont get fixated on it. Most guys seem to use like maybe 10 tones if even that so thats not many to fool around with if needed.Hec many just use 1-3 diff amp tones which is even less stress to check out deeper tweaks. And once you understand the deeper stuff you know if applying it is what you need.

@James Freeman I'm curious what your background is. Are you an amp designer, engineer, artist, hobbyist or something else? Not that it matters. I always really enjoy when people get into the nitty gritty details about modeling. I could read about it all day and night.
