I was just looking at a new Recto stock 2x12 in a nearby store and it too has the more generic bronco tolex. That is a bummer, I much prefer the smooth one they used to use.

Yeah it happened when they released the BL25 and VII. I wonder what my 50 will have, should they ever fuk up and ship it.

The new Mark amps are all the bronco tolex as well. It's definitely a step down from the iconic taurus leather tolex.
