You could always just ignore them and answer my question (if you want that is)mi clon, fuck off dude
i dont hate the unit,i hate the owner attitude, very arrogant,i keep the unit only for the FXs and because i liked some ampsYou could always just ignore them and answer my question (if you want that is)
It does and I kinda expected the answeri dont hate the unit,i hate the owner attitude, very arrogant,i keep the unit only for the FXs and because i liked some amps
hope that answer your question
That's the company/dealership. A better comparison would be you got into an argument with a guy at work who drives a Ford and swore off Fords
I was shopping for a car decades ago and an Olds dealership pissed me off in a number of ways.
Swore off the brand because of it.
There's no Timmy in the QC? I guess I lost track. Anyway, that one's easy enough to remedy. There are a bzillion Timmy's/ Timmy-a-likes in the cloud, I imagine. Better still, capture your own at your own ideal settings. It's a fun little project - much more idiot proof than capturing a full amp rig - and at the end you have Timmy blocks tailor made for you. Some early wish list items:
- Eventide micropitch detune effect
- Keeley Halo delay
- Strymon Cloudburst reverb
- Stereo widener effect
- Harmonic tremolo
- Timmy drive
Not even that to be honest dude.@Orvillain was kicked out of a the Kemper beta team because he provided, what I thought, was well documented flaws in their profiling method (I think).
It that isn't irony I don't know what is.I was removed purely for being complimentary to the Quad Cortex.
If that isn't arrogance, I don't know what is.

The biggest irony of all is, I sold the QC not long after, and had the Kemper for another year!!!It that isn't irony I don't know what is.
I know the answer is probably neither but if you had to choose between buying a QC or Kemper right now what would you lean? The biggest irony of all is, I sold the QC not long after, and had the Kemper for another year!!!
Really tough question to answer. If we're talking purely about amp profiling accuracy, then it would be QC. But if we're talking a solid holistic system, it would be Kemper. Although I hate the workflow myself, but others like it.I know the answer is probably neither but if you had to choose between buying a QC or Kemper right now what would you lean?
Yeah not really. One really cool thing about Kemper tho (to me) is that you could have bought the original unit at launch (2011?) and you are still getting updates for it.Does Kemper really release updates all that much? I know editor, liquid profiling. But seems like you'd be installing something new once every 2 years
Agree completely. And I will always have a soft spot for Kempers. Even if I don't ever end up with another one.Yeah not really. One really cool thing about Kemper tho (to me) is that you could have bought the original unit at launch (2011?) and you are still getting updates for it.
That's wild to think about in a way
Even if I don't ever end up with another one.
Kind of wash vs. QC, in this regard.Does Kemper really release updates all that much? I know editor, liquid profiling. But seems like you'd be installing something new once every 2 years
