NAM: Neural Amp Modeler

I am pretty sure this will be a great sounding setup but NAM XT currently only supports preset changes with a PC. GigFast Lite could suite you better, with channels acting like snapshots if you don't use more than one NAM loader at a time. Also all parameters can be assigned to MIDI.
It did change presets while connected to my HX Stomp, so when I change preset there the corresponding preset was loaded in the app.

What I will probably do is get some separate preamp and power amp captures of my amp and then make some presets.

BTW this is a bit complex preset to build but you can use hx stomp effects pre and post GigFast as well.

Wishing you all a great weekend

Nice, that's actually what I've been asking around (harassing people in other threads) about: achieving pre- and post FX with the HX Stomp. If you have a setup that works, please DM me some details. :-)

Hi folks, i have a question, when you do import an IR in WAV format into Dimehead NAM Player will it convert it into .IR file?

if possible on firmware v1.1.0 or older.

Could someone brief me on what AIDA-X is? Is it an implementation of NAM somehow? I’m likely picking up a used Chaos Audio Stratus multi-FX pedal this weekend and they’ve been saying that AIDA-X support will come later this year so now I’m curious.

AidaX - a similar idea to NAM but not based on NAM tech.

I believe it's based on RTNeural instead. (Also found on github).

As for Chaos Audio Stratus, it's a decent looking pedal for sure.
They have a discord server and it's fairly active, so maybe a good place to ask for more info.

Thanks! I might check out the Discord after I get the pedal. If I can get captures of the power amp section of my amp inside that pedal in the future I’ll be a happy camper, even though a full NAM player would probably be even more interesting.

Just put up an unlisted video looking at the NAM ENGL Fireball capture I did... was torn on posting it here or the ENGL thread :)
So happy when things just work... tried and tested reaper session, reamp the stuff in a couple minutes. Upload to Tone3000, bada bing bada bewm.
The whole point was a more relaxed vibe and just showing the reaper session and how well the tone works playing to a mix without guitars.
