The Sneap and Petrucci forums both seemed to have spawned the next generation of shredders and mixers at about the same rate. Just off the top of my head, Ola, Misha, Angel Vivaldi, Levi Clay, Ben Eller, Andy Wood, Tom Quayle, Eyal from Daath/URM, Rick Graham, and I know there’s a ton more.

Yeah, I’m in Ft. Lauderdale about 10 mins north of Miami. You’ll be about 4-5 hours NW of me. Hopefully this rain passes by then, it’s been Florida chilly (high 60’s, low 70’s w/ wind and rain so it feels like the 50’s due to no sun).

About another 3-4 weeks and we’ll be back to consistent 85 degree days again!

The forecast for the week is all 70's to mid 80's. Even 60's is like a heat wave when coming from Western NY, so any weather will be better.

I used to have family in Ft. Lauderdale when I was growing up but they all died or moved so other than a 1 day business trip a couple years ago, I haven't been to that area in way too long. With our kids out of the house we are getting back to traveling more so I imagine a South Florida, Miami to the keys type of trip is likely in the next few years. Drinks on me if it happens.

Yeah, I am more north, more west, with more lake effect snow, more permanent cloud cover, and more cold. I need to move!
