Jennifer Slamiston?
More blues and edge of breakup styles like Gary Clark jr stuff…some world music/ ambient style as well. Not really any chugging metal stuff or heavy metal. What kind of music do you play? What is your sound reproduction unit?
Massively agreed. I’ll no doubt get an axe4 whenever it comes out but I just don’t see fractal moving the needle much in terms of usability (I’d love to be wrong but just realistic)I have to say I feel pretty strongly that the Axe FX 3 edged out the Helix models in most situations for me. You're totally right, there's a feel thing going on that is difficult to talk about, especially when people act like cunts about the word feel. But that's besides the point.
But I really don't think Stadium is going to be the same experience. I think Stadium is set to absolutely take the crown. I'm turning into a bit of a fanboy sure. But I really feel a lot of positivity and promise with this one.
This is what my fallopians are telling me too. Whispering in my ears, as I dream my Kevorkian nightmares.Stadium being on par sound wise but also having great usability and eventually capturing, it really is ticking all the boxes and will seemingly excel in all areas.

No, but I'll put that in my emo poetry book for safe keeping! Are you live posting new song lyrics?!
For reals. I'm very excited to get my Devito fins on it.The Stadium is truly inspiring
This is peak, album ready vocalsNo, but I'll put that in my emo poetry book for safe keeping!

I will say that I was heavily looking at the fractal stuff, but at this point being that I’m more of a visual person I really need some type of bigger on screen touchscreen type interface because being more visual and less technical it just is more comfortable to work with
My old Vox tone lab SE floor pedal was nice. I still use it. It’s very simple layout, even though it didn’t have a big screen. Every single thing had a knob to control it so I still to this day really enjoy that whole set up interface thing and kind of would prefer it Like if a unit had exactly that style of layout but the screen was like say the roll in GT one even basic screen I would be happy with that because I really liked my GT one when I had it. The screen was very bright and the resolution was very clear. It wasn’t a touchscreen but for the price point you know at that time it was interesting.
I can't have them sounding anywhere near what I like without a lot of tweaking. Not a fan of the amp modeling on Helix as a whole, but the Bogner Ecstasy specially - I think there's something wrong with it. It's a far cry compared to what a real Bogner Ecstasy sounds like. IMO
Expand D10 only has ADAT out, not in, so the ADA8200's mic pres would be wasted. But at $179, how big a deal is that really? How about using the Stadium as the USB interface and the ADA8200 as additional inputs to Stadium? Does that work? It looks like the D10 only has digital out.
Is there a manual for Stadium available?
Jen Majura I believeJennifer Slamiston?
One of the more effective marketing pieces that stuck with me from the OG Helix era was a video montage consisting of various guitarists play testing Helix Floor for the first time in a studio. Their reaction to the dynamics and interaction was front and center, IMO a brilliant approach. Seeing their reactions made me want to experience that difference for myself. But I really don't think Stadium is going to be the same experience.
It seems to me like Cliff over at fractal’s not gonna go with the whole touchscreen route but I may be wrong. I hope he does because can you imagine a fractal FM nine with the helix touchscreen on it? Oh my GodMassively agreed. But I should be able to get that out of the stadium, shouldn’t I?Last gig I did playing that sort of stuff was backing up a great female singer. UA Dream set to break up (footswitches set to reverb and trem), DOD 250, EJ fuzz face, Bonamassa Wah. Best tone I had in a long long time. If your tone needs aren't all over the place like mine, I strongly suggest - if you haven't already - to try an UA amp sim with a few pedals. It's awesome.
I don’t know if sound is a given. I’ve seen “YouTubers” give great reviews for everything from helix, to fractal to nux , hotone etc. I don’t quite trust these reviews anymore. Helix was good, but it took a lot of tweaking to get on par with fractal in the raw amp sound.Stadium being on par sound wise but also having great usability and eventually capturing, it really is ticking all the boxes and will seemingly excel in all areas.
To truly know we'll need to see/hear A/B examples and that hasn't been done yet. The opinion poll on Stadium (from people who've tried it) is extremely favourable, and that's all we can really go off for now.I don’t know if sound is a given.
