Line 6 Helix Stadium

That is probably my most important takeaway from yesterday. To be honest, I previously considered this feature to be more of a gimmick. Nice, but not particularly important to me personally. And now I was sitting there in front of the device, moving the cursor back and forth on the touchscreen... and I instantly understood how great it actually is. Especially when I think about recordings... ‘Hey, I need a sound here that 's kind of like...’ swipe, swipe, done!

Damn, I feel so hyped today! Almost like a little kid waiting for Christmas. I can hardly wait for the day when I can finally order a Helix Stadium (non-XL, because I want to put it on my desk).

Thanks again @Digital Igloo for being such a nice guy.

I'm getting that same cheapo stand DI linked to so my Stadium XL will live on my desk as well.

And it will be on the floor everywhere else.

This expression pedal would be perfect for Focus View / XY Zones.

I've seen those quite a while ago already. And I think they're possibly cool in a controlled environment, but very likely less so in the heat of a gig. I mean, just try standing and moving one foot in 4 directions seemlessly and controlled.
Having YTers never playing live praise the thing doesn't help much.

General question, maybe you don't know or it's already been asked... Can focus mode be mapped out say from one point to another and then assigned to an expression pedal?

I think that drawing a path in the XY plan and make the expression pedal follow it, will be a natural extension of focus mode, once it will be customizable.

Being able to custom map out by dragging and writing a "path". Then assigning to an expression pedal.
Cued up in the vid although it doesn't claim to be able to do that:

To reiterate, I think it should be fairly simple to do (it may already be a feature, I just haven't watched enough vids to know for sure).
Anyways, would be very cool, creatively and functionally.

I spent the last 4 hours putting together a song moodboard from a whole bunch of jams since July. Ended up with a 12 minute epic. Nice.

But to do it, I used a combination of the Nolly plugin and Amplitube 5. It is sometimes really nice to be able to just plug into a soundcard, capture the DI, and fuck around with effects and what not after the fact.

I do kinda miss the Quad Cortex, but tbh, I'm nearly 100% sure the Helix Stadium is going to absolutely wreck the QC's buttocks.

Once Proxy lands, capturing all the great tones from the NDSP plugins and anything I like from AT5 will also be dead sexy.

Do you have that link handy?

At 12:27 DI shifts over to the 2nd page of amp parameters menu and there is a “Z PrePost” parameter. I’m assuming that’s the setting for cab impedance curve?

The value might interpolate how much of the impedance coloration is applied at the input (preamp) versus the output (power amp/speaker)???
