Line 6 Helix Stadium

This was an obvious evolution... But somehow, We all ended up not believing it would happen. Here it is.

I mean, the last resistance to profiling were Fractal and Line6. This lets fractal alone (well, with Boss and Zoom, that obviously are not in the same league, and will adopt some kind of profiling for sure).

The Stadium looks stunning. The small version has my almost ideal footprint. This will be very hard to swallow by units like the TMP (for Fender, this is game over) and QC (I think they have a great product and will still be relevant).

Still to know the price... Any clue?

I'll be the first and say my FM9 is going on sale soon. Fractal amps are great but the feature set of this thing is off the charts and that matters. The Showcase looks insane.

16 Agora versions of existing amps in the Line 6 library. From the promo materials thus far, looks like:
  • Grammatico GSG
  • Revv 120
  • Brit Plexi
  • Diezel VH4
  • Panama 5150
  • German Extra/Bogner Ecstasy
  • HiWatt DR 103
  • Fender Princeton
  • Line 6 Aristocrat
  • Fender Twin Reverb
  • Fender Deluxe Reverb
  • Fender Champ
.....plus four that they haven't pictured yet.
Well, those are definitely not the ones I would have picked.

I think Line 6's biggest 10th anniversary gift are the avalanche of used modeler deals that are about to happen (and I'm getting in there too!).

1. I want a plugin version
2. Will the hardware have improved audio interface capabilities and low latency drivers?
3. I want a plugin version
same.

With the onboard multitrack audio, I assume so.

and also, with the d10 it looks like I could use my old interface as an 8pre via toslink, making the HS the center of my studio setup.

And now we wait for the first sound clips to arrive.

EDIT: Just realized that no rack version is being offered at this time. Wonder what's that about. Granted, it seems like the new units probably have enough DSP and I/O but no rack? Really?

DI has said that the sales of rack units are small compared to floor units. I'm not surprised there is no rack version of the Stadium.

...especially in case you get the version without the pedal, so it could sit on a music stand next to you comfortably for any dense editing sessions. I'm sure plenty of folks won't ever feel the need to open any editors.
Exactly how I use my QC now, and exactly why the non-expression Stadium is in my sights.

(My QC template is comprised of 8 scenes each of which crossfades between two different voicings: clean to heavy, heavy to clean, clean to synth, synth to bass, etc. So I can mostly get by with one wireless expression pedal on the floor, occasionally tapping the QC screen with my right hand.)

Helix Stadium Family. Not Helix Stadium DINK, or Helix Stadium Hot Couple. There will be more.

Focus View: This is EXACTLY what I was trying to describe over the last day about finding ways to make it easy to adjust the modeler. Drag your finger around the screen to adjust several parameters in real time. Working smarter and working different rather than working harder.
