Line 6 Helix Stadium

This looks incredible. Backing tracks and/or a very sophisticated looper, bordering on DAW?

Looks like a single unit that would cover the functionality of my current QC + iPad rig, but with greater ease of use. Now if only Line 6 would buy out Jam Origin and wedge a MIDI Guitar conversion feature in there...

BTW I'm standing by to flay anyone who previously said they didn't want a touchscreen. ;)

Depends on pricing, I suppose. But my best guess is, Quad Cortex is what you got because this wasn't available yet.

Now what am I going to do with two Quad Cortexeses LOL?
I just got my QC in December, I would have waited if there was a real hint that new hardware from L6 was coming lol - then I would have been happy that I waited.

Yeah, sucks getting blindsided like this. But FWIW: the Stadium is still a ways out; the QC is the best thing to have on hand now; the Stadium pricing is a complete mystery; the QC may remain better suited for some applications (i.e. "why not both LOL").

Missed you! Good to see you around \m/

.....plus four that they haven't pictured yet.

No matter how much I may still miss some things, but this thing with its combination of touchscreen, capacitive switches and 8 encoders will be a fucking DREAM to deal with once it comes to on-unit-editing, especially in case you get the version without the pedal, so it could sit on a music stand next to you comfortably for any dense editing sessions. I'm sure plenty of folks won't ever feel the need to open any editors.
