The poor NAM geeks are all butt hurt this morning. Cheer up, at least you are in a better spot than Kemper and QC.

That's a poor way to word it - not sure why the hostility towards a free solution that gave profiling the huge kick in the arse it needed for players like Line6 to consider their own spin on it. I wouldn't be shocked if they add NAM playback to the Stadium lineup, even if locked to profiles which strictly adhere to the vanilla NAM architecture.

It's kind of throwing me that the smaller of the two Stadiums is called the Stadium Floor, after 10 years of Helix Floor referring to the OG "full-fat" version.

I work in tech at the exec-leadership level. I left a job in January. I could buy one, but I am holding myself to no new gear until I have the new job. Money is fine, but why annoy my better half? I do have an interview tomorrow, though, so this may be a minor delay.

Then I'll keep my promise about a no-expression-pedal Helix and make the order.

I put in my pre-preorder yesterday. Texted my Sweetwater guy, and it took a few minutes for him to get back to me. He had a question for me, and he said in between the time he asked and I answered, 14 pre-preorders were submitted.

No Proxy until 2026 is something I am sure they said but I missed. NAM is a maybe, but it looks like they're gonna want to let Proxy run its course for a while first.

Never say never with stuff like this, but they've been pretty direct about no subscriptions for Proxy.

You will absolutely be able to make your own Proxy clones. User does the capture, uploads to the cloud for processing, gets sync'd back to the device when it's done.

No subscriptions, Eric and I are not fans of that model. NAM’s a maybe, but Proxy does have a number of advantages over it since we can tailor it to our hardware. We do know how much people like NAM though.

Lucky for you, every Stadium has the HX models in it too, so you can create A/B tests in any Guitar Center or wherever one is on display.

Messaged my rep and got added to the wait list. I’m not normally an early adopter but Stadium addresses so many quality of life issues that I struggle with. I’m also betting there’s a good roadmap on improvements over the first year.

Closer to release I can always back out if negatives pop up.
