Line 6 Helix Stadium

Nop. IIRC most of NDSP employees stopped posting shortly after the QC launched.
I figured some of them might have dipped their toes back in the water after the most fiercely anti-NDSP members made their way over there. I don't read TGP anymore, but I assume it's gotten more pro-QC (or at least neutral?)

What’s the story on bass for Helix? I abandoned using the AxeFx for bass pretty quick. It would be cool if the Stadium has some decent options that could pry me away from using Parallax for everything.

6 new bass amps (14 channels total, including 5 for the 50th Anniversary SVT alone), sidechain for Dynamics blocks, much more flexible 7-band Parametric EQ with adjustable high/low cut slopes, and don't sleep on the Split > Crossover block, which has been there since Helix's launch in 2015. Stadium 1.1 will have 16 bass presets with info and dry clips; I actually like them even better than the guitar presets—Dom and Brad killed it. They still suck tho' of course, because All. Presets. Suck.© More sucky factory presets to come in future updates.

No new bass-centric effects just yet, but I'm sure they're coming.

QC-indifferent. Because there just isn't much to talk about with that product these days and hasn't been for quite awhile.

Nice. Notes taken. I’m flying blind into the Helix ecosystem with the Stadium to see what all this jazz is about. :ROFLMAO: Those presets might be super helpful, at some point I figure I need to stop looking at bass from a guitarists perspective and dig in. I’m assuming y’all have a bunch of bass cabs on your new cab block?

Reading your post I totally forgot about the dry clip thing. That’s really badass to demo things and hear it as it was intended from the patch maker. Will be really cool to be able to load a bunch of user DI parts too, to demo and tweak hands free.

Love that it'll be there after I open it up and update it on day one.

Does that mean all 64 presets on 1.0 are just for guitar?

Recording your own user clips is coming later. For 1.0/1.1, only factory presets get clips, I'm afraid.

48 guitar, 16 bass. We kept the count low on purpose with the intent of expanding it later. Unlike Helix/HX, you can't delete/reorder/edit Factory presets without saving them into the User folder first. That lets us freely update/improve them at any time without worrying about people loading old/outdated factory presets with a backup restore.

Y’all got any of them 0-3-5 clips for the normies?

As long as you subdivide the palm mutes in 8th notes, then triplets, followed quintuplets...you pretty much have a modern prog metal band. 25/12 time signatures FTW!
I guess I I am simple
I just want to hear the 800 opened up with SD1 in front and some big chords

Also where is the clip of the day

I listen to a lot of modern prog and prog metal, but ultimately...I'm an 80s baby, and I want to hear what you describe above too.

But I'm being patient, and I know I can great sounds on that front from the HX 2203, BE100, SLO and Bogner Ecstasy already. SO having Agoura versions of all of those except the Friedman on day one, puts me at ease even without "sonic proof".

Still, I need ONE clip of the JCM800 with a SD1 in front and a plate reverb behind playing some 80s-style riffs with a pinch harmonic or two slipped in.

Not sure why the typical Thursday drop is late, but that's on their marketing department. This stuff should be scheduled well in advance.
