As I said, I wonder if this is just an intern product branching the divide between the old helix and whatever is coming, which is new which is 100% agora everything but they kept the old helix name to get helix people on board so that bridge is going tocarry them to like the next hardware iteration which might come out next year with a whole different name, but the same display orientation stuff
And yeah no one seems to have issues touring with multiple quad cortexes, just get a rack shelf.
I think rack belongs in a home/studio 100% more than on the road, stationary and space saving.Yep. It seems to me that rack vs floor unit barely matters for most of these sort of rigs and how they’re actually used anyway. In some ways it maybe matters more in a studio (I’d actually prefer a rack unit for home / studio as it would be a whole lot easier to fit for me than a big floor unit lol)

I know but imagine this 8” gui on the fm9. Would be coolFor the thousandth (and not likely the last) time, IT’S NOT MERELY A MATTER OF ADDING A DISPLAY. Not even close.
This was exactly what I was thinking when I said that people who like the HX Stadium will find a way to use it without having a rack version. Even if it means cramming it into a 2-3 unit rack drawer.Iron Maiden's Adrian Smith uses a Helix FX...
You don't get much bigger or more serious acts than that.

I totally agree that it will be used this way but I am disappointed that the rack format is not an option. This was exactly what I was thinking when I said that people who like the HX Stadium will find a way to use it without having a rack version. What reason is there to think it's a transition product though? Seems packed with features. And how would someone who buys the helix stadium perceive being offered a "legit agora modeler" only a year after? Would the stadium not get more agora sims or?As I said, I wonder if this is just an intern product branching the divide between the old helix and whatever is coming, which is new which is 100% agora everything but they kept the old helix name to get helix people on board so that bridge is going tocarry them to like the next hardware iteration which might come out next year with a whole different name, but the same display orientation stuff

Tim just REALLY doesn’t think he should have to look at all those HX and earlier models and FX.What reason is there to think it's a transition product though? Seems packed with features. Not yet at least.I totally agree that it will be used this way but I am disappointed that the rack format is not an option.
Correct.Lol, the line6 guys said that rack units massively undersell compared to everything else...
Never said we won't make a rack version, just that all the "Whaaa! Where's the rack?!" complaints have a legitimate answer based on metrics, which inform road map priority. Unsurprisingly, we've had a Stadium Rack design for many years, just like we've designed dozens of other products that may or may not actually see the light of day....and that’s why they’re not bothering with stadium.
On a scale of 1/100 and 100 being the amp analog where realistically do you put helix and stadium?
Amp only.
I think the only way it has an advantage in sales to HX rack is if you can somehow make it 1U, but then you have to have the interface remote and then is it really Stadium?Correct.

It all depends on what the masses demand and how Stadium is embraced, but to be honest, nearly every time I've asked "What would a Stadium Rack accomplish that Helix Rack could not, sales-wise?" the answer is always "here are the reasons why rack formats are beneficial," which A) doesn't answer the question I asked, and B) no duh.
I’m not happy with axe 3 clean sounds . I really wish I was it would be so much easier. The level where you’re still not happy with it.
