I don't think it is that good tbh.
lol yes, that was my rhetorical question.
So what actually drew you to plunk down the serious cash for the Stadium?

We can't talk about future plans.@Digital Igloo
Hey Eric,
Going back to this
Can you please tell me whether there are plans to address this in the future?
When using an IR, it would be more fitting to be able to choose a SIC that is more appropriate with the IR.
Thanks
We're working on stuff...there’s nuance that’s important. If the traditional 68 Plexi is what L6 was going for - they nailed it. My point is that we either need control of bright cap and filtering parameters on that model, or we need a good 70s Superlead to do “that other” Superlead thing. The L6 Plexi is an opinionated take and we’re going to need more variation. I don’t need fractals 10+ Superlead’s or whatever it is, but I need a 70s spec model.

I figured. Sorry for the hashing this up again. You all are awesome I know you guys are paying attention and aim to please. We can't talk about future plans.

I was hoping I could consolidate my modeller needs into one unit, and sell my Axe3. It's way too early to do that right now.So what actually drew you to plunk down the serious cash for the Stadium?
Similar sentiment here, which isn’t as negative as it seems on the surface. As things progress I’m feeling like there’s a lot of momentum behind Stadium, and that we’re going to be in “embarrassment of riches” territory before we know it. I’d love to know they are as responsive as they’ve been without decimating their development road map.I don't want to be too hard on the Stadium - I do like it. I like it a lot. But I'm not properly wow'd or drunk in love with it yet.

I think that is a very lofty thought. This technology is organic, vendors are always seeking improvement on their technologies. Well....except for K.., I have similar hopes that it'll be the ONE to rule them all

Tonex and NAM came out of nowhere and I can't imagine new vendors won't come to do the same in the coming years.
that I agree with. I have to have a talk with myself and just learn to settle on one unit.I don't think any flagship will be the best at every facet. I just meant it would be fun to operate and sport enough usability, variety, and reliability to keep me locked in for years to come.
And I think it is close to that now and will meet and exceed that standard - for my personal tastes only - soon.
is wondering if that company will be around in 10 years
I'd like to think FAS as a business has a plan in place. Do the FM and AM engineers work on code separately or is it Cliff figuring it out and saying port this to the other devices.Fractal...how old is Cliff, when will he want to retire? There are all sorts of potential futures there. Too hard to predict
I have similar math going on, although, if IK doesn't put out a Tonex Floor soon then I think they are broken. They could easily put out an AT5/Tonex floor modeler with TonexAmps/decent At5 effects including the new Sunset Reverb 2. If they did that for $750USD it would crush. They could go even further and integrate ReSing, ARC.... it's all just sitting there for them. Pay a hired gun and get it over with. That's a very valid concern right now.
I would bet Yamaha will be around in 10 years, and if not we likely will have bigger problems, like Terminator type shit to deal with. Kemper, I doubt will still have any interest in guitar profilers in 10 years if they are in business at all. Those are the easy ones.

NDSP...finally heading in a good direction but never underestimate their ability to screw up.
IK has been around long enough but they could walk away from a tech like Tonex any time. NAM being open source will be around, but who will be making hardware is alway an open question. Headrush, NUX, Hotub/Valiton/Sonicake and other Chinese brands could come and go any time with little warning.
Basically, you are rolling the dice with any of them.
I'll even throw Fender in that mix. I have no faith in them or their parent company
