Yeah, they sound like someone changed the mids control. Can you really not hear the difference in the clips that were just posted?

Yeah, I’m so glad i came back here. It was a mistake. Won’t make it again.Maybe start by backreading the thread a bit so you don’t look like such an asshole.
With some of us digging into Agoura so hard it probably seems like we’re ripping it a new one, but there’s a ton of evolution in Agoura IMO. I still find it to feel most like plugging into a tube amp out of anything I have in the digital domain. The playing dynamics feel incredible and seem to be wider/more varied. I’ve also noticed Agoura responds to boosts and drives more realistically. These are each significant iterations in the technology. But that’s not how Line 6 has described Agoura - it doesn’t seem to be a “evolution” but a from the ground up new modeling engine. In that process it’s probably much more likely to have introduced a bug than if they had opted to refine the existing modeling.
But I’m not hearing / experiencing the Agoura modeling as flat, though. On the contrary, it’s much more dynamic and chewy, and has no weird distorted decays that rendered quite a few models useless to me in Helix.
I hope they fix the SIC or whatever is causing the lack of highend. But selfishly also hoping it won’t change the feel/response of the amp too much
Now in this video, they match up much closer.
I mean…I value your input. We’ve had perfectly reasonable interactions on most things. Just seemed like you came in here wanting to dunk on people who are investing their nights and weekends to try and help move this conversation forward. That’s confusing.Yeah, I’m so glad i came back here. It was a mistake. Won’t make it again.
I’m not sure why this seems to be getting more prevalent. At times one really could make the case that we’re rapidly devolving.Who shoots out modelers though a room mic?!

It’s all good. I’m just saying I’m confused by how frequently we see demo comparisons from room mics.Huh? I'm not throwing shade here - i'm legitimately having a hard time telling one device from another in that video, let alone judge which one sounds better.
I'll take the guy's word on all three sounding/feeling good.

There is no Ag. Model of the Dual Rec. People are hating on the Plexi but idk if it's an accuracy issue or just the model they picked to emulate. I didn't like the 5150 III blue or red models either as they were the 100w versions. I much prefer the 50w.Plexi, 5150 and Double Rec

I'm pretty sure I'm one of the only people on here that likes the Plexi. I recently tested out a demo of the UA Lion plugin and thought it was very similar, so that would give you an idea of what it sounds like. This is very cool to hear!
I can hear the differences in the posted MK2C+ samples but I’m more interested in the Plexi, 5150 and Double Rec. family of amps, have people encountered the same sound similarities in those Augora amps?
