Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

Yet following from the sidelines...you haven't provided any evidence to counter what he said. It basically amounts to "nuh-uh, you're wrong".

I've been on the tourbus but I will happily provide a video of an E1 note pitched up with the process causing way less than 23ms later on when I'm in the hotel.

I already said I'd move this shit discussion to the Thunderdome, as requested by the mods. But since you keep continuing...

That's not what you need to prove. I've already said that there are different ways to achieve pitch shifting, and so any pitch shifter you try, you will have to prove does it using pitch detection (which does require at least 1 cycle to detect the pitch, which means an E0 would be 24.2ms for 1 cycle); as opposed to the other ways of doing it, which do have lower latency - albeit, not by much.

What you need to prove is your original assertion:
Well, it basically really only depends on CPU power. More juice = less calculation time needed.

I'm not saying anything else.

One of the reasons I’ve gone with the Helix Stadium is if there are any bugs or hardware issues, I know I’ll be well looked after and it’ll get sorted.

I had a hardware issue with a launch OG Helix years ago and Frank went above and beyond to get me sorted.

Helix Stadium XL Poly Capo comparison - all set to downshift 2 semi tones.

Looks like the Poly Capo trades off more artifacts during the attack instead of warbling during sustain - this particular example kinda amplifies it - when playing normally I do hear the attack artifacts but don't seem as pronounced.

I'd be interested if you tried fw31. The capo is not great for me. Artificial harmonics are causing huge issues.
I was debating going back to fw27

IMO pinch harmonics are going to be difficult to track with even the best pitch detection as they are kind of unstable they are all over the place depending on where you hit the string you can get like 3 different pitches
Are you bending , hitting near the neck , near the bridge
Between the frets

I'm crazy with the cheez wiz with my pinch harmonics. I think the tracking was best with fw27 (27.02 specifically) before all the recent drive/pre-amp adjustments but I digress. Other things are better. It's tough to compare units when things are so organic. I'm tempted to re-try the QC ffs with their new code.

These seem solid:
