Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

Well, it's there - I don't know how to link to it. Some guy named erickuehnl has been doing replies. I think some people think that that's you :p

Are any of the FX updated? Reverb chorus delay etc? Thanks

They already announced that the FX wouldn’t be updated in 1.0 - 1.2. But hopefully after that!
We can't talk about future plans.

Cool - Mattias! One of my favorite players! But he can have unique, non-traditional tonal tastes - watching the video now!

I love that Line 6 gets so many talented oddballs (e.g. Mattias, Bumblefoot, Dweezil Zappa).

I know it's blueballs prior to release when people are looking for an extensive traditional runthrough, but I love these kinds of unorthodox players. Anyway, all of the stuff everyone else is waiting on will pop off sometime between now and Wednesday, probably.

The Mattias video had me laughing.

“Check out this heavy tone!”

…screaming cat noise.

Such an endearing little goof, that guy! I mean he basically smiled his way through the whole shebang. I want indepth demos as much as the next guy, but I really like seeing the joy and emotional components of people interacting with the unit as well. Call me a softie.

Tuner looks nice finally. Also some more amps to be spotted, Voltage Queen, Stone Age 185, L6 Clarity! and some more tweed. Excited to see the Agoura release list.

Sure? The menu right to the screen at 3:15 has not "Legacy Guitar" but just "Guitar" selected.

The way it works is that nothing goes into the "Legacy Guitar" category until it gets an Agoura version.

So the HX amps, Line 6 Originals and Agoura models all co-exist in the amp category so as not to bias someone against trying them. In fact, the Line 6 Originals no longer have "Line 6" at the beginning. They all get graphics and look like they belong with each other.
