I enjoy when the Mrs. comes along on a gear journey as she is always a good sport. I do also once in awhile like to see how long I can drive without stopping for a bathroom break to pick up a new amp

Same. My other half quite enjoys road trips to pick up new gear. She likes a roadtrip and we always stop somewhere fun for food. She also says the same thing about me holding it for as long as possible

I'm just 2h away this weekend where we spend a short vacation. But I'll be a day late anyways because of a gig and my family will kill me if I leave just for gear porn. I'll buy the stadium anyway but it would have been nice to chat.

For us old people - seeing pics of the old analog devices in your modern digital device is just neat to me. I’ve since gotten rid of classics like the Big Muff and Tubescreamer and stuff so it’s fun (to me) to see them pictured on the screen.

Haven't done a ton of research, but apparently there isn't a single Oktoberfest event happening in Mannheim next weekend? I guess it's primarily a Bavarian/Munich thing? Bummer; there are a bunch of Oktoberfest-y events in LA, but I've never been to one in Germany.

I’ve gone completely mad. Even though it‘s a long ride, I have actually decided to go to Guitar Summit on Saturday. I've already bought my tickets for the show and the train. It's going to be a really long day, and knowing myself, I'll probably regret it. But right now, I'm looking forward to a nice trip and a welcome distraction from everyday life. I hope that I will have the opportunity to try out the thing we all want.
