Latching footswitch

I’ve got a Boss RV-200 which has an input for an external switch.

It works great but weirdly I have to stomp twice to activate and twice again to de-activate.

Not the biggest problem but I’m wondering if Boss use a proprietary switching method?

You need a momentary type switch like the FS-5U.
