You you defenitly can use Loop from hx/stomp for reamping.

Once i measured a slight dB loss (between 1,0 and 2,0 dB) Bit you can easily boost Loop-send on Helix hw to taste.

I made some captures that way some time ago and it worked fine- at least for testing captures…

Ok, so let me ask: What output are you assigning in the Tonex Modeler app to send the capturing tones to the amp? In the app, 8 outs appear, which ones are representing the FX loop sends?
And can you use the return for the amp signal to get back into the Modeler app? If so, which returns are represented by the inputs available in the app?

If that was possible, it'd defenitely be the easiest way.

Well, it actually is. You can't get lower than 15ms, unless you don't install the driver under macOS, in that case you can get as low as around 9-10ms, but that's coming along with plenty of other disadvantages.

Since i changed to uad interface meanwhile i am not that sure… made a preset back then to use hx as interface ( Main out at the end to -128 dB it as low as possible i think) and capture was nearly identica - worked fine.

Loop send & Return wäre set each to 100% so acting Like a serial Loop (inst-Mode).
On Mac latency was no issue to me , send/return left)
I tested on Mac with vsthost First and remenber out 5 and in 6…
Was sctually as mentioned in pilotbook…

can have a look, but wont be before sunday because of IRL-things…

Ps: Had to edit since t9 in foreign language is sooooo awkward…
