I clicked on the icon of the pack and it immediately bought up a list of captures in the pack. Do you get different results if you click “Try” instead?

I'm not sure which icon you're talking about?

I just click a preset from the list where the highlighted preset is under the Try/Buy buttons, clicking that brings up the Try/Buy screen then you get a little timer appear over the amp picture.

Ever see yourself making your own captures?

Had some family in over the weekend mixed with the fact that I keep fuckin' noodling every time I load it up. I found the Mezzabarba(sp?) caps last night and REALLY dig those, a lot. I want to have something recorded along with the review, but at least I'll have a little more experience with it before I voice too much opinion on it!

Edit- here's a quick review- @Deadpan's JEL caps just set the benchmark of how I want to dial in all my Marshall-flavored stuff from now on. This is fucking SICK! This is the first time I touched a guitar today, excuse the sloppy noodles. All I did was add the delay and reverb and turn the gain knob up 1 increment. It's the Orville with the Suhr Aldrich in the bridge. I can't wait to hear this tone double tracked on some actual riffs!

Oh, @Mongillo19, when I realized I have everything I need to make captures I dug the idea of doing it at least to check it out. It'd be cool to grab some of the Shiva before it gets sold!

Just tried auditioning them but clicking “Try” and I’m now getting the 30 minute trial. Odd that there’s two ways of opening and auditioning a paid pack, but then again it’s TONEX.

I'm tryin' pretty hard to see how you came to the conclusion that clicking the picture instead of the Try button would do it, but I'm not gettin' there. I've been looking at this fairly critically, given the discussion surrounding this software since I first loaded it up at launch and my experience then, but I'm really coming up empty on things to complain about.

Caveman dude. I saw the icon and I clicked. It loaded the pack and I assumed I was in the right spot. Apparently not. And apparently there’s multiple ways to audition a pack, which is odd, but totally expected given the software’s history.

Oh, give it time and you too will eventually get “TONEXED.”

I think it slays. Gaustad no doubt knows his VH tones and these are the closest to the early VH tones that I’ve heard so far. Still on the fence on whether I’ll purchase it or not.
