Nah, as a with any major sale, spending $100+ is still spending $100+.

It only makes sense if you were truly going to use the software.
 
Yeah for me I already had the OG tonex pedal but wanted a tonex one for couch playing at first but am now thinking it'll be great for acoustic gigs too.
 
very noob question, but is there a way to get those collections from tonex max through this group buy, or do I have to buy max to have access to it? I saw in a lot of places people saying you can't upgrade to max using the freebies, but you can get close to max picking up the collections there, but I don't see a way to get british juice 2, for example. Or high-gain heroes. Is this locked behind max only?

As far as I can tell it's locked behind Max. I was only able to get up to the "Full" Tonex through the group buy (Tonex SE came with my Tonex One)

You can technically buy the Max for a discounted rate of $199 but not worth it to me.
 
There are no Signature Collections in TONEX MAX, it has more stock library Tone Models than the lower-priced versions. All of the Signature Collections are available as choices in the Group Buy if you purchase something 99.99+. TONEX MAX is an entry point though, if you want that extra factory content you could buy into the Group Buy with TONEX MAX. If you want the Signature Collections you can buy one of the 99.99 Signature Collections and pick the rest as your freebies (and then have a ton of choices after that).

Also, if you are seeing download issues, please report them to the team. From my location the download speeds are not slow but I did experience some general web site slowness (and our forum which is on a separate server/service entirely) but IK Product Manager pulls files from a CDN that should choose the proper location based on your location and serve fastest so something may be happening there from certain locations. After the AWS debacle recently which didn't affect us, I'm hesitant to believe in geolocation-based failover/file serving logic at any CDN. So they can report the issue to our IT team and the provider if there are details of who is having issues. Thanks!

Long shot, but are you guys looking for beta testers at all? I have a LOT of feedback I'd like to direct towards the next generation MODO Drum's development, assuming that product line is continuing on.
 
Is Thomann considered an "official seller" for this promo as well? I might get the AXE I/O ONE but it wont be delivered before the 28 or 29. So if I get it from them will I still get into the Promo?
