I will just redeem all the stuff and possibly think of something later on. I defenitely need a dedicated external sample SSD at one point anyway (in fact, I already have one), just need to come up with a clever organisation of projects, so I don't try to work on stuff when that external SSD isn't with me.

Yes, I think I have an old 512gb SSD lying about from when I replaced my laptop drive with a 1tb a couple years back. I'm just not very good at file management for plugins when they're off board and not in the usual places.

Same here. But I'm in the process of streamlining some things anyway (ok, redeeming 472 IK piano libraries doesn't exactly bode well with that process...), so I may just go for an approach like "when on the road, always start new things with minimal requirements (such as just the stuff in my standard project template), never work on existing projects" or so. And at home, I'd just keep the external drive connected to my dock all the time.

According to Bedroom Producter's Blog, if you want an easy way into the group buy or simply want Amplitube 5 really cheap (29.99), head over to Plugin Boutique.

I can't confirm as already have Amplitube 5, but maybe they also have other IK M deals going that also work on group buy too?

I think that might mean, before Amplitube 5 was updated to V2...
so if that is indeed the case, I think it might be only a problem if you find some website selling v1

People should keep in mind that the value/price of the qualifying product in the Group buy determines the value limit for products you can redeem. So it is not necessarily a good idea to "get in cheap".

yeah I think if you register it with code supplied by PB, on the IK M website, it's the same as if you just buy the software on the website (whatever the value is for the deal) - but I guess Pete @IK Multimedia can clarify this.

What if I buy a piece of hardware and it arrives after the sale ends. When I register that serial number, will I still be able to pick out my freebies?
Secondly, is there any possibility I can get the serial number before I get the physical product?

If I were to guess: It's over when it's over. And regarding the serial number, you could ask your retailer whether they would do you that favour.

@IK Multimedia I currently own Total Studio 5 MAX, all three Brown Sound collections, and the ENGL Ampthology Volume 1. Can you confirm that there isn't a single title or product available for me to redeem that I don't already own?

Since you should have Prism Reverb and Lurssen Mastering EQ that came out afterward but were added to Total Studio, it looks like you are correct.

@IK Multimedia Is there any reason to redeem titles I already own licenses for — either through Total Studio 5 Max, separate licences or through my Tonex hardware (the large pedal and two Tonex One pedals)?

I'll give it a shot. Mine wouldn't stay open long enough for that to work, but maybe uninstalling and reinstalling might help.

Note that TONEX iOS was updated recently (I believe another poster commented this but I want to make sure you saw it and you could try the updated version.

They won’t, but my own curiosity has me wishing IK released stats on how much product they move during a given group buy.

This is first time I’ve bothered to participate but man do I feel like I cleaned out their entirety of their capture and amp modeling tech.

We have a counter and you can probably figure out the more popular products that would be buy-ins (coupled with price points that get the most out of the deal) and assume that older items and virtual instruments are less popular as far as what people chose. However, with hardware in the mix it is harder to estimate without direct access because we do have a natural registration rate for hardware we sell direct, via audio dealers, and our Amazon shop (which is the reason the tiers changed as that added a lot to the participant counter, and it looks like we'll be at 50 for the price of 1 thanks in part to that very very soon).

Where did you buy it? There are still 9 days left, but if you ordered something and it arrives shortly after October 31 I'm sure our support folks will be able to take care. Just hold on to your order and tracking info so they can verify. If you bought through us that is super easy to track and take care of.

I suppose the only reason is if you want to sell anything you currently have that's transferable but I'd wait until after the Group Buy since those will not qualify the buyer.

It works, yes. I wish they'd update the amp images as well, but babysteps.

Tone.net sucks .. geez too many connections. ToneX says I'm not logged in when I am. Is this how it's always been?
Do I really have to have Product Manager and the website open to use the collections?
EDIT: Ok, after hours of fiddling I finally got the collections to restore and stick without Product Manager and the site being open. Hopefully it stays working.
