It is decidedly so. I believe it is my favorite.
It's just got this cutting, bite of a sound! It's raw and aggressive, but with that Mesa high gain. And it's tight!

What is it? A Mesa gained-up Marshall? Cuz that's kinda what it sounds like to me.

I believe it is based off of a somewhat obscure Fender amp called the Tone Master, Tom.

Yep it actually is although the fender stopped at 3 gain stages
It’s a custom shop that was designed by Bruce Zinky
The Mesa adds a 4th gain stage on the Red channel
