I Gotta Wonder About Fractal's, er, "Perception"

Y'all won't get close to this god-tier level churner

I lost ~$10K between Reverb and Paypal for all of my gear flipping last year and I think I churned close to $70k?

That’s the only episode I’d rewatch. It’s that good. 😂

Please go and research how many devices in the music tech industry were released in 2024, and then separate them into two pools - ones with a touchscreen, and ones without.

Then realise that touchscreens are actually the outlier, and by and large, people don't want or need them.

You don't need a touchscreen on an overdrive pedal, true. I applaud you for finding out.
Devices that could benefit from a touchscreen, often feature one. Modelers and such are among these devices.

it's not a profession, either. It's an addiction and that guy needs help. And yes, I'm serious.
I'd say it still needs context. If he earns seven figures a year then flipping $70k worth of gear in one year is far less concerning financially speaking. It still might be in the realm of addiction, but it wouldn't be a potentially life ruining one at least.

Over the last 10 years, if I added up eeeeeeeverything, including plugins, computer, etc., I maaaaaay be $10k in the red. Total. While still being in possession of gear that I could squeeze $6k out of without too much trouble.
I've taken some GC chunk hits over the last year or two. But really nothing too terrible compared to dealing with private buyer bs.

I burned through probably 10K over the past year or so. I was stuck at home recovering from surgery and trying new gear helped keep me engaged. I definitely used it as a crutch. Addiction? Maybe but it was better than turning to drugs or sex. Rock and Roll for me baby!

Yup. Move to a new city, and guess what, it takes us time to navigate our way around. :idk

I just think sometimes our expectations as consumers are a bit whack. I am used to
putting in the effort to achieve outcomes. Weird like that.::wat

Me quibbling about whether the streets are laid out properly or not is just a waste
of my time and energy. What does it accomplish? It sure as fuck won't help me learn
my way around the city faster.

On the other hand, me commenting about how others are complaining that the
streets are not laid out in an intuitive manner that is easy to understand I have all
the time in the world for. I do.
So…..we need Google Maps for Fractal? I’m confused.

Without getting into the gory details, allow me to make a quick statement on the snippet RE: Reverb sending 1099s:

Fuck Reverb for this shit.
