Title says it. I've been using a DI rig (Friedman IR-D) for shows lately and it always sounds great out front. BUT I'm having a miserable time with my sound on the wedges. It's always a problem and keeps me from fully enjoying the shows.
What do I need? IEM? "FRFR"? I don't want to have to carry a lot of shit or I might as well just bring an amp.
And yeah, I know the IR-D is not a modeler but I figured the modeling guys know more about DI monitoring so.... posting it here
