You could compare the most vanilla, 1.0 Helix (but release version!!!) you can find against a normal 3.9 Helix. Compare it in sound, looks and features. I'd watch that. Would also be a statement and hat tipping to the ppl making the HX to what it is today.

It's very revealing going back to old YouTube review videos when Helix originally launched. The platform sound substantially better today, IMHO.

I first thought "they will announce 4.0 in that Livestream", but then I remembered DI said they were not announcing new firmware in May or June. He might be lying just not to ruin the surprise, but not holding my breath on that
So it could be a Helix 10th anniversary edition, or maybe a Helix FR to compete with Fender FR10/12. Can't think of any other "special development"that would make sense.

Since I've just been reading the Kemper thread, I decided to check my Helix Floor's startup time, and found it to be approx. 15 seconds.
