That made me remember an older post by DI regarding some kind of nebolous update content which would bring "endless amounts of fun" (?) or something to that extent.

Thing is, I can't seem to recall the exact words, and thus the search won't yield any results...

Anyone know what post I'm referring to?

I'm pretty sure something awesome is coming our way, whatever it is.

Good morning everyone. I'm sharing my Real Cab IR creation work for anyone who wants to try it out. I work on making Real Cab IRs for Helix, Quadcortex, Kemper, and Boss GT1000, so that on "FRFR" or PA, it feels and sounds like a real amp, not a mic'd one. Each IR pack is for a specific amp. In this case, I'm sharing a complete pack for the Matchestick with an open 2x12 cabinet and a mix of GreenB and H30, so you can try it on your Helix. To start, use the preset included with the Real Cab IR, "MTCHLS CH1 RC GRE+H30." Then feel free to experiment. Thank you so much for trying my work.

I'm pretty sure something awesome is coming our way, whatever it is.

An innovative feature no other modeler does, many hours of fun with infinite new amp tones, very little extra work.
Sometimes I think Line 6 are walking on gold without looking down.

Not that I expect this at all, but L6 adding separate blocks for power amp and impedance curves would make huge waves.

Imagine being able to piece together a Boogie preamp into a 2203 power section into whatever cab model using any impedance curves you like.

That would be an unparalleled amount of flexibility.

It's the kinda thing you can do with captures and a QC, but it would be cooler with models.
