Welcome to TGF!Hello everyone, first post! Long time lurker on the "other side", I have to say that I'm enjoying this place!
There is one thing that has always bothered me about my LT: In the display, you can only see the number of the snapshot, but not the name, although there would actually be enough space in front of it to show it.
@Digital Igloo Couldn't this be a small improvement for one of the upcoming updates?
You mean in the header? Whe Global EQ is on, an icon appears next to the snapshot icon and if you use a particularly long preset name, there may not also be room for a 10-character Snapshot name.Hello everyone, first post! Yes, I meant the header. And I know that I can see the snapshot name in Performance view, but it's sometimes a bit awkward to switch just to see the name. But I understand that there might not be enough space, or that the font would have to be so small that you can't see anything anyway...You mean in the header? Snapshot names do, however, appear in Performance view:
I literally set this up this morning on my Stomp XL. All I did was attach the PC# to my Snapshots. I think the only setting I had to change was the Program #, seen in your screenshot, to the appropriate number. For example, 0 for Bank 0A, 1 for Bank 0B and so forth.I'm using my Helix Rack with a ToneX Pedal in the effectsloop. Works great but I tried to change the midi command on a Helix preset (that switches the Tonex preset) and I can't find the midi command in the Command Center in HX Edit. It shows no midi command but it does change the ToneX Pedal to program 2. Is this a bug or am I missing something? No luck either on the Helix Rack itself. The midi command on other presets does show up perfectly fine.

As I said, it's working fine. Just don't understand where that midi command has gone. It does switch the Tonex but can't be found in the settings/ command center. Looks like it's hidden but engages anyway.I literally set this up this morning on my Stomp XL. All I did was attach the PC# to my Snapshots. That's not working for you?
Export your preset to a file and take a look at the JSON therein to see if you can find where it is being set.Looks like it's hidden but engages anyway.
Did you check all the snapshots in the command center?As I said, it's working fine. Just don't understand where that midi command has gone. It does switch the Tonex but can't be found in the settings/ command center. Looks like it's hidden but engages anyway.
Just inspected the preset and can't find the midi command. Setup a test preset with program change 46 and it shows it like this:Export your preset to a file and take a look at the JSON therein to see if you can find where it is being set.
You could also share the preset here for others to take a look.
Check Global Settings -> Midi -> MIDI PC TxJust inspected the preset and can't find the midi command. Setup a test preset with program change 46 and it shows it like this:
"tone" : {
"commandInst1" : {
"@bank0" : 0,
"@bank32" : 0,
"@channel" : 0,
"@command" : 19,
"@program" : 47,
"@waittime" : 0
Everything is fine there but not in my Solo preset, there's no @program line in the file but it does change the midi program on my Tonex Pedal. If I put in a different PC it will show that command in the preset file.
Anyway not a big problem and I can just change the midi command and it will show up. Just some strange behaviour of my Helix Rack?
Here's the preset on Customtone https://nl.line6.com/customtone/tone/6138400/ maybe one of you can check if it does change the midi program to 3 (or 2 as midi starts counting on 0) on your connected midi device?
I just checked your Solo ToneX preset with in my Helix Floor, this preset doesn't have any Command Center parameters at all.Here's the preset on Customtone https://nl.line6.com/customtone/tone/6138400/ maybe one of you can check if it does change the midi program to 3 (or 2 as midi starts counting on 0) on your connected midi device?
I checked the preset with TouchOSC and it behaves like every other preset - when it's invoked it fires the following MIDI commands:Here's the preset on Customtone https://nl.line6.com/customtone/tone/6138400/ maybe one of you can check if it does change the midi program to 3 (or 2 as midi starts counting on 0) on your connected midi device?
(Program change is the number of the preset in bank 4)
Check Global Settings -> Midi -> MIDI PC Tx
I don't think I used Native with this preset, but I do use Native a lot too. I'm pretty sure I made it with HX Edit only, as it is mainly build around my Tonex capture in the fx-loop and I don't use that in Native.I just checked your Solo ToneX preset with in my Helix Floor, this preset doesn't have any Command Center parameters at all.
Has this preset been fucked with in NATIVE by any chance?
When I import, save, then export a Floor preset with snapshot command center parameters into NATIVE, all midi "@program" :" lines in the preset file are removed.
I'm just going to say it once again:
Some of the preset data form the hardware units is removed when importing to Native.
Here’s a great interview with Peter Gabriel’s guitarist, David Rhodes. They actually get into some nice detail about how he’s using the Helix.
