Headrush "FRFR"-GO

There’s decent monitors to be had for a tiny bit more money. Buuuut, I said that… as the cheap ass middle aged homeplayer dad player I am.

I think the main selling point is the built-in rechargeable battery - the battery for the Spark 2 is an additional £80 on top of a £279 amp.

If the "FRFR"-GO is even half-way decent1, you could pair one with a Pod Express for quite a neat little travel rig.

1 Likelihood is that it won't sound great! ;)

That's the million dollar question, yeah. But the price is quite reasonable. Catch one on sale... it could have some utility value.

Just wanted to say that the last gen "FRFR"-108 and 112 sounded crap, so I don't have any hopes for this either.

Would spend extra to get the Spark 2 over this any day.

Watch this thing sound really good, which would be hilarious since the other HR cabs sound like luke warm ass-milk.
When gear like this comes out I sometimes wonder why I even post on gear forums. My taste in gear hasn’t changed in 10-15 years. 6L6s, high wattage amps, 4x12s with V30s, Fractal and TC effects, super-strats with high gain pickups.

Like, that’s my jam right there. Nothing I’ve tried pulls me away from that type of gear. "FRFR" absolutely sucks compared to a real 4x12 and it’s not close.

I use an Headrush 1-12 weekly. Mostly because it has 2 Inputs and I can
run my Keyboard into and also an out from the FM3. The corrective EQ
curve posted by WKSmith on the Fractal Forum has worked wonders.

Not sorry.

We also have to remember not to be elitist fucks. Too big of an ask?? :idk

Not everyone has decades of experience, and has played every amp under the
Sun, gigged on stages, and bought time in studios. For someone out there this
"FRFR"-No Go will be ideal. :beer

There are no absolutes in this world. :unsure:I still hear ya. But being on top of the mountain and
yelling down to the dregs below is just going to make you tired and hoarse.

Like I said, I agree with you, though.... just not absolutely.

Options are options. I doubt that this is trying to compete with a 4 x 12. :idk
