There has been quite the debate about HeadRush units "backing up directly to DropBox" lately. Despite what HR actually advertises, this is not an option.
For anyone wondering....HeadRush units, as they stand right now (8-27-2025) can NOT back up to DropBox directly. They can only RESTORE from DropBox. And even then, it's one file at a time, not a full restore. This has been confirmed by InMusic support:
"Unfortunately, there's no option to save directly to Dropbox from the Headrush unit. Additionally, transferring files from the internal/USB drive to your Dropbox account is not possible. Dropbox is intended for loading files, mainly as a practice tool. I would suggest backing up your data to a USB drive. You can then upload the data to your Dropbox from your computer for future access.
I have raised your request as a feature request with the Dev team. This has now been submitted as a feature request, it is with our development and product teams to investigate and action accordingly. Sadly I would be unable to provide a timeframe for this, or any information on the progress of the feature request. These are typically addressed in future firmware updates, where the latest can be viewed via our product pages or social media channels. Thank you for your understanding."
