Nice. I think I am going to pull the plug on the EVH. Especially considering the size, power requirements and volume drop.

Do you have a micro flanger? If so; does it have a volume drop? The EVH does and I am not digging that aspect
I had the micro flanger and I don't recall any volume drop or variation but take into account that I always used it in front of the amp dirty channel and I might have not noticed it.
I liked it a lot.

Yeah, I only notice the slight volume boost when running it with a clean sound. As soon as I run it into any dirt I don’t notice it.
MXR modulation pedals in general seem to love going in front of a dirty amp

Right now the EVH is in the loop. I am not opposed to going in front of an amp though?

I would definitely give it a try! I always prefer flanger in front of the amp, and I would assume that’s probably how that particular pedal was designed to sound it’s best
