Have you tried it against any others ?Yessir
I have not. I bought it after watching the Andersons demo of all the 4 in one pedals. I kinda want the super rodent as well. The only other screamer type pedal I’ve had was a plumes that I didn’t dig.Have you tried it against any others ?
That's the one that piqued my interest, but it has not earned a permanent spot on any of my boards. It might be time to pull it out of its box and give it another shot.I kinda want the super rodent as well.
Tried any horses into your stable?Only pedal I bought was a Wampler Triumph. Became a stable on my main board instantly.

Bonus points on the MIJ BF-2. You don’t see those in that kind of shape every day.Yes! G.A.S. is ever present.
This year, it's been:

Long live the addiction :| :-).
I saw a demo of the OCD GE the other day and thought it sounded great. How’s it working for you?I’ve picked up some used MXR pedals recently:
-MXR Timmy
-MXR Duke of Tone
-MXR Classic 108 Fuzz
I also bought some new stuff while they were being discounted:
-Earthquaker Devices Disaster Transport Legacy
-Fulltone OCD Ge

I purchased my first BF-2 in the mid-80s, along with a DD-3, CE-3, and a PH-1R (my very first digital delay, chorus and phaser, ever).Bonus points on the MIJ BF-2. You don’t see those in that kind of shape every day.
Quite the amazing selection!
FWIW if you ever need a backup, IIRC the early Taiwan manufactured models used the same parts and kinda fly under the radar. Same with the DS-1 and a number of the boss pedals.I purchased my first BF-2 in the mid-80s, along with a DD-3, CE-3, and a PH-1R (my very first digital delay, chorus and phaser, ever).
Wish I had never sold them.
When I purchased the BOSS GX-700 rack unit in 1997, as I transitioned over to rack equipment, I figured I'd never need those pedals again, since I had those and so many more, built into that unit, but that was a huge mistake.
I waited a long time to get my hands on a MIJ BF-2 in that shape, that wasn't $500.00, hoping BOSS would come around and issue a Waza version of it, but they never did - much to my disappointment.
I'd hate to admit how much I paid for this one (It was nowhere near 500 bucks, though).
It was worth every penny :-).
I like the color temperature pictured on this light, way more than that of the Bright Light (which didn't have color temp options). Looks to be around 4500K - a neutral tint that looks a lot like daylight sun. Very nice color. This tint makes it possible for a lot of late night use, without burning out your eyeballs. It's really color accurate, unlike the typical, Blue, Green, or Purple-sih tints most cheaper LEDS seem to have.First time I've seen the Bright Switch. I'm definitely going to check it out. I am currently using a rechargeable light I picked up for $25 on Amazon.
It's supposed to run for 100+ hours on a single charge. I haven't needed to charge mine since January. It's not as slick as the Bright Switch pedal, but it's hard to beat for the performance and price.

I actually have 3 of the rechargeable lights. One for my main board, one clipped to my bedroom headboard, and on clipped to my coffee table. Very convenient and useful.I like the color temperature pictured on this light, way more than that of the Bright Light (which didn't have color temp options). My sister gifted me a similar light for my keyboard sight-reading, and it has a similar color temperature but it doesn't heave the rechargeable LiPo battery feature in it. Nice!
I'll be ordering one of the lights you listed here. Thanks for the reference!
I'm also a flashlight fanatic and I EDC this Zebralight SC600w Mk IV Plus HI, all the time. Powerful, nearly indestructible, and crazy flexible little light.

Neutral light is the best!
I’m using the OCD Ge with my AC15 and have been liking that pairing. I’ve been going for amp-based distortion for the last few years, but started to get back into distortion pedals again once I tried the RAT-Vox normal channel combo.I saw a demo of the OCD GE the other day and thought it sounded great. How’s it working for you?
